Alerian Sovereign Global Blockchain and Crypto Indices
The Alerian Sovereign Global Blockchain and Crypto Indices embrace crypto futures, trusts, ETPs, and/or companies, listed on globally recognized exchanges, that are materially engaged in the development of blockchain technology, crypto mining, crypto buying, or enabling technologies that facilitate the transfer, custody, and issuance of digital assets. Included in the Indices are companies engaged in the development of blockchain technologies and related technology creators and producers that enable the development of blockchain technology and/or for the purpose of digital assets and income earnings.
Rules-Based
The Alerian Sovereign Global Blockchain and Crypto Indices depend on a clearly defined rules based methodology, which is overseen by an impartial Index experts . No discretion is exercised in compiling the index and a pre-defined screening protocol assures a consistent, transparent and arms-length compilation process.
Global
The Alerian Sovereign Global Blockchain and Crypto Indices embrace public companies and select investment vehicles from around the world. As a result, the indices offer full exposure to the rapidly growing global cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors. There are currently eight indices in the Alerian Sovereign Global Blockchain and Crypto Index Family.

Sovereign Crypto Index Funds
The Sovereign Crypto Index Fund (the “Fund”) offers access to the overall market cap growth of the asset class, capturing digital stores of value, Web3, decentralized finance and payments use cases. The Fund is designed to track the performance of the Bloomberg Sovereign Crypto Index (the “Index”), which includes the largest and most liquid digital assets. The constituents represented in the Index are selected based on institutional trading and custody readiness in the US and beyond,as well as quality of pricing.
Sovereign DeFi Index Fund
The Sovereign DeFi Index Fund (the “Fund”) seeks to simplify exposure to the rapidly growing decentralized finance (DeFi) sector of the digital asset market. The Fund is designed to track the performance of the Bloomberg Sovereign DeFi Index (the “DEFI Index”), which includes the largest DeFi applications in the digital asset ecosystem. The constituents represented in the DEFI Index are selected based on institutional trading and custody readiness in the US, as well as quality of pricing.
